Life and Death in Rio Movie Review 1987

Rio de Janeiro is a city with two faces: one of crystalline water and white sandy beaches; the other of abject poverty. This film examines the plight of Rio's nine million citizens and the substandard housing, poor nutrition, under employment, and nonexistent sanitation they live with each day.
