Deepwater Movie Review 2005

Neo-noir. Young Nat (Black) is just out of rehab and drifting around when he rescues Finch (Coyote) from a road accident and is rewarded by a job in the man's rundown motel. Finch has a lot of shady local interests and his wife Iris (Maestro) is a hot young tease. Nat's not the most reliable narrator so the plot confusion deepens, leading to an unexpected twist. Adapted from the Matthew F. Jones novel.
