Yee-haw! The '70s TV show jumps (literally!) onto the big screen. Good ole Georgia boys, moonshinin' cousins Bo (Scott) and Luke (Knoxville) Duke try to keep their Hazzard County family farm from corrupt county commissioner Boss Hogg (Reynolds), with the help of Uncle Jessie (Nelson), Daisy (Simpson), and Cooter (Koechner). But then, you knew that, because that was the plot of every episode. This version is a little less lighthearted, but it is funny (thanks to script doctoring by the Broken Lizard troupe), and doesn't take itself as seriously as the show. What it does take seriously are the car chases and stunts, which show off the General Lee, the Dukes' beloved 1969 Dodge Charger, to great effect. If you were a fan then, especially of the General, you'll be pleased. If not, you're probably wondering why they bothered at all.
