Apparently, this is one yard too many. Stretching the premise of the original into a better-left-undone mess, sequel reunites dorky dentist Oz (Perry) with ex-hitman Jimmy the Tulip (Willis) and his still-aspiring hit woman wife Jill (Peet), who are trying to live on the down-low in Mexico. Jill is still trying (and failing) to become an assassin while Jimmy's attempts at blending in consist of pretending to be a house-husband to terrifically bad comic effect. Oz, meanwhile is living in L.A. with wife Cynthia (Henstridge). Shred of a plot centers around the revenge scheme of Lazlo Gogolak (Pollack), whose son Janni (also Pollack) was whacked by Oz and the Tulip in the not great but infinitely better original. Joyless performances by all underscored by a spectacularly bad Pollack.
