Michael Jennings (Affleck) is a brilliant engineer hired by his old friend Jimmy Rethrick (Echkart) to work on a top-secret project. The one condition is that he gets his mind erased after his job is completed. Three years later, Jennings, sans memories, finds that he had forfeited his fee of $90 million in exchange for a manila envelope full of seemingly random objects. It turns out that he was framed for murder and his former employees want him dead. The objects become clues to figuring out what the heck is going on. Surprisingly lackluster adaption of a Phillip K. Dick short story, considering that John Woo is the director.
