Two young women, the caustic acid-tongued Hannah (Cartlidge) and shy eczema-scarred Annie (Steadman), are introduced in a flashback sequence as they meet and become college roommates. They reunite for a weekend visit six years after they graduate. Both have become career women and have smoothed out their rough edges. In their wanders around London, they coincidentally run into people they knew back in the day, including a smarmy real estate agent (Tucker) who dated them both and a despondent schizophrenic (Benton) who pursued Annie. Excellent performances from a largely unknown cast.
