When John Stockton arrives in the village of Lamberley, sinister things begin to happen. The villagers then learn Stockton is a direct descendent of the St. Clair family--suspected vampires whose estate was burned 100 years before. When the local vicar begins to worry, he sends for Holmes and Watson to investigate. Based on the Conan Doyle story "The Sussex Vampyre."
