Xtro 2: The Second Encounter Movie Review

Second encounter was only between Xtro director Harry Bromley Davenport and a camera; this has no story relation to the 1983 sleazefest and is instead your basic Alien ripoff. Research facility transfers people to a parallel dimension. One traveler returns playing host to a spiny H.R. Giger knockoff that escapes into the air shafts and threatens to kill everyone in the building. Impressive photography and set design considering the sub-$1 million budget, but creature f/x are inert.
