Trancers Movie Review

A psycho zombie cult of the future goes back in time to 1985 to meddle with fate. Only Jack Deth, a longtime Trancer terminator, can save mankind. Low-budget Blade Runner imitation, with widely scattered clever touches. One is the gimmick of time-travel via a drug that injects one's consciousness down “the genetic bridge” to the bodies of distant ancestors (hence Jack Deth's tough-talking superior officer shows up in the Reagan era as a tough-talking little girl). Followed by four sequels. AKA: Future Cop.
