Time Machine Movie Review

Sunn Classics, the company that did all those UFO and Noah's Ark documentaries in the ‘70s, was responsible for this inferior adaptation of the H.G. Wells classic. The story's setting was unwisely moved to the ‘70s, keeping down costuming costs but also losing the charm of the original's Victorian milieu. John Beck is the Time Traveller, whose adventures in history incorporate a lot of economical stock footage. Blonde Priscilla Barnes is the ingenuous Weena. Do yourself a favor and stick to the George Pal version.
