Solarbabies Movie Review

Ridiculous costumes are somehow appropriate to the laughable title, but this isn't an intentional comedy. Rollerskating kids in a drought-stricken future vie for a mysterious power that will replenish the Earth's water. Shades of every sci-fi movie you've ever seen, from Mad Max to Ice Pirates. Pathetic, despite a cast that's done much, much better. And it was written by the author of The Wild Bunch!
