Screamers Movie Review

A mad scientist on a desert island gleefully turns a group of escaped convicts into grotesque monstrosities. The video box makes reference to the doc's victims being “turned inside out,” which, to put it mildly, isn't strictly accurate. The monsters are actually vaguely fish-like. A gory and gratuitous horror romp, recycled from an obscure Italian release, with little to recommend it. AKA: L'Isola Degli Uomini Pesce; Island of the Fishmen; Something Waits in the Dark.
