Robot Wars Movie Review

Not exactly a sequel to Robot Jox, not even an incredible simulation. A future nation-state's security depends on their scorpion-like MRAS-2 mega-robot. When it falls into enemy hands, the hero unearths the long-lost MRAS-1 and pilots it for a very brief clash of the titans. This Charles Band production (directed by his father Albert) barely lasts an hour; a lengthy featurette fills time with behind-the-scenes details of Band's Full Moon Productions facilities.

1993 (PG) 106m/C Don Michael Paul, Barbara Crampton, James Staley, Lisa Rinna, Danny Kamekona, Yuji Okumoto, J. Downing, Peter Haskell; D: Albert Band. VHS, Beta, LV PAR
