Fear of technology pervades this low-voltage thriller in which electricity goes awry, causing common appliances and other household devices to super-charge, malfunction, and threaten their owners. Genre fans who enjoy the sight of glowing circuits and melting insulation should find Pulse friction a minor turn-on.
