Panic in the Year Zero! Movie Review

Ray Milland doubled as actor/director on this one, generally considered to be the best of his five efforts. Milland and family luck out(?) and miss getting nuked in Los Angeles when an urge for fishing comes up. Continuing out into the wilderness for safety, the family finds a survivalist's dream come true in an every-man-for-himself world. An intriguing plot and very competent cast (even Frankie Avalon does the job) make this an above average ‘60s end-of-the-world thriller. AKA: End of the World.
