Outland Movie Review

On lo, a volcanic moon of Jupiter, miners begin suffering from spells of insanity (stepping out into the vacuum without their suits, for your viewing pleasure). Sean Connery, by far the best thing in the movie, is the planet's lone federal marshal who begins an investigation that bad guys try to stop. Essentially a western in space, with some of Peter Hyams’ typically poor science, so-so f/x, and some spectacular exits for the villains. Might make an interesting double feature with High Noon, though, and it even sired its own blatant imitator, Moon 44.
