Missile to the Moon Movie Review

First expedition to the moon encounters not acres of dead rock but a race of gorgeous women in lingerie and high heels. Take one cheap, silly sci-fi groaner, then remove the name stars and the 3-D effects, and there you have it – a bad but entertaining remake of Cat Women of the Moon, featuring a bevy of beauty contest winners from New Hampshire to Yugoslavia. Cast is not quite as accomplished as the original's. Gary Clarke (who took over Michael Landon's Teenage Werewolf role in How to Make a Monster) is pretty good, but he's no Sonny Tufts. Laurie Mitchell no doubt put this on her resume right next to Queen of Outer Space. Cathy Downs was also in The Amazing Colossal Man and She Creature. K. T. Stevens was the daughter of famed comedy director Sam Wood. Tommy Cook was in Arch Obeler's Strange Holiday and played Little Beaver in the “Red Ryder” series. Director Richard Cunha churned out this quickie to fill out a bill with Frankenstein's Daughter.
