The Lost World Movie Review

A zoology professor (Wallace Beery) leads a group on a South American expedition in search of the “lost world,” an inaccessible plateau where dinosaurs roam in this silent film. Once there, they encounter many adventures. They return to London with a captured apatosaurus, which breaks loose and causes a riot in the streets. Based on a story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Special effects by Willis O'Brien led directly to his work on King Kong. A 90-minute version includes the film's original trailer and a recreation of some of the missing footage (the film was released at 108 minutes).
