Invisible Invaders Movie Review

Short, cheap, and silly aliens-try-to-take-over-the-Earth flick. This time they're moonmen who use the bodies of dead Earthlings (ugh) to attack the living until John Agar can save the day. He and Robert Hutton seem so bored with this script one can hardly pick them out among the zombies. John Carradine has a brief role as a formerly dead scientist. Though this film's lack of vision wasted the idea, ten years later George Romero would pick up their fumble and run it in for a touchdown with his Night of the Living Dead.

1959 67m/B John Agar, Robert Hutton, Hal Torey, Jean Byron, Philip Tonge, John Carradine; D: Edward L. Cahn; W: Samuel Newman; C: Maury Gertsman. VHS MGM
