Infra-Man Movie Review

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV show, with its cheesy monsters and hyper-kinetic fight sequences, owes a lot to this outrageous Hong Kong production. Ancient Princess Dragon Mom unleashes an incredible array of creatures (including Octopus Man and Beetle Man) on the Earth. She wreaks such apocalyptic havoc that a scientist is forced to tell the world's leaders, “This situation is so bad that it is the worst that has ever been.” It's Infra-Man, a bionic superhero, to the rescue. Tremendous fun for all ages, with non-stop martial arts action and priceless corny English-dubbed dialogue (“Drop the Earthling to her doom”). It's “infratastic.” AKA: The Super Inframan; The Infra Superman.
