Married a Monster from Outer Space I Movie Review

A vintage thriller about a race of monstrous aliens who try to conquer Earth by turning themselves into duplicates of human beings. One of them marries Gloria Talbott. The poor woman soon learns the horrible truth (on their wedding night, no less!), but nobody will believe that her good-looking, clean-cut hubby is really a thing from another world. Ignore the hokey title; this is a highly effective ‘50s sci-fi creeper with truly frightening monsters. Newlyweds, however, should approach with caution; it might make for a rather unpleasant honeymoon.

1958 78m/B Tom Tryon, Gloria Talbott, Maxie “Slapsie” Rosenbloom, Mary Treen, Ty Hardin, Ken Lynch, John Eldridge, Valerie Allen; D: Gene Fowler Jr.; W: Louis Vittes; C: Haskell Boggs. VHS, Beta PAR, MLB
