Blew Up the Kid Honey I Movie Review

To parents, it is the ultimate nightmare: the Terrible Twos magnified 100 times. To children, it is the ultimate fantasy: to tower above adults and have the world (or in this case, Las Vegas) as your playground. Rick Moranis returns as Wayne Szalinski, the screwball inventor who shrunk his kids in the first Honey, I…. misadventure. It's a Son of Flubber for the ‘90s, with awesome special effects its ‘60s counterpart could not even imagine. Cherubic twins Daniel and Joshua Shalikar steal their scenes (not hard for a 100-foot toddler) as the rampaging Adam. A third Honey has been produced for the direct-to-video market.

1992 (PG) 89m/C Rick Moranis, Marcia Strassman, Robert Oliveri, Daniel Shalikar, Joshua Shalikar, Lloyd Bridges, John Shea, Keri Russell, Gregory Sierra, Julia Sweeney, Kenneth Tobey; D: Randal Kleiser; W: Thom Eberhardt, Peter Elbling, Garry Goodrow; M: Bruce Broughton. VHS, Beta, LV DIS
