Highlander: The Final Dimension Movie Review

The third Highlander pointedly ignores what went on in the second Highlander but can't claim much of an improvement. Immortal Connor MacLeod battles sadistic master illusionist Kane (Mario Van Peebles, hamming it up laughably amid computer-generated f/x), who seeks to rule the world. MacLeod returns to his old Scottish stomping grounds to prepare for battle, giving armchair tourists something to look at, anyway. Original theatrical release was PG-13 and 94 minutes; the director's cut has been re-edited and footage added. AKA: Highlander 3: The Magician; Highlander 3: The Sorcerer.

1994 (R) 99m/C Christopher Lambert, Mario Van Peebles, Deborah Unger, Mako; D: Andrew Morahan; W: Paul Ohl; M: J. Peter Robinson. VHS, LV TOU
