Hercules in the Haunted World Movie Review

Another good Italian fantasy-adventure featuring the mighty Hercules – played yet again by Reg Park, who must have been genetically engineered to look exactly like former series star Steve Reeves. Here the son of Zeus must journey into the depths of Hell in order to find a plant that will cure a poisoned princess. There are stone men and fiery perils a-plenty, plus Christopher Lee as a servant of Pluto, King of Hades. Far more interesting and atmospheric than other Herc-fests, thanks largely to Mario Bava's inspired direction. AKA: Ercole al Centro Della Terra.
