The Henderson Monster Movie Review

Don't be fooled by the P.T. Barnum title or sf/horror packaging; there's no monster at all in this talky TV drama. Potentially hazardous experiments by a genetic scientist wind up the subject of courtroom debate. But each character has his or her own hidden agenda divorced from the facts (like Nehemiah Persoff as an old pal of Einstein's who opposes gene-splicing to expunge his own guilt over helping build the atom bomb). Interesting, if overstated primer in science ethics, reviewed here for the record.

1980 105m/C Jason Miller, Christine Lahti, Stephen Collins, David Spielberg, Nehemiah Persoff, Larry Gates; D: Waris Hussein. VHS, Beta LIV
