Half Human Movie Review

A strange little Yeti picture from Japan, badly mishandled by the U.S. distributor. An expedition discovers an adult and child hairy bi-ped creatures in the mountains. A circus captures the creatures, but when the young one is killed, the adult goes on a rampage. When released in the U.S., more than half of the original film was cut out, while cheap scenes with John Carradine and Morris Ankrum were added. Most of the film plays without subtitles or dubbing, just Carradine's narration. The big-foot monsters are most unusual looking. Director Inoshiro Honda made better movies before and after, with Godzilla and Rodan – although it's unfair to judge this one on the basis of the U.S. version.
