Gamera Vs. Gaos Movie Review

Now fully the good guy, giant flying turtle Gamera slugs it out with a bloodthirsty batlike critter named Gaos, who has been gobbling up folks. Gaos is also able to generate ultra-powerful sound waves from his throat in the form of a cutting beam, which neatly slices a few vehicles in half. With Gamera recovering from injuries sustained from his first clash with Gaos, heroic scientists come up with an outrageous idea (even for the Gamera series) to defeat the bat-creature. Hundreds of gallons of blood are used to lure Gaos atop a revolving tower restaurant, in the hope that the beast will become too dizzy to escape until dawn, when the sunlight will destroy him. If only they'd used that idea on Dracula! A subplot about road construction and a boy named Eiichi (which sounds like “Itchy” to Western ears) serves as filler. More weird fun from the increasingly silly Gamera series. AKA: The Return of the Giant Monsters; Gamera Vs. Gyaos; Boyichi and the Supermonster; Gamera Tai Gaos.
