Firebird A.D. (2015 ) Movie Review

A dreary action adventure set in a 21st-Century society where automobile use is banned because of an extreme oil shortage. Private cars are hunted down for destruction by the Department of Vehicular Control. One overzeal-ous enforcer decides to make it a package deal by throwing in the owners as well. Red and Indie (Darren McGavin and George Touliatos) are rebels who refuse to give up the pleasures of driving. They manage to avoid capture for a while, but eventually the DVC abduct Indie's daughter and it's time for a show-down. Everyone connected with this effort should have had their license revoked.
