Fire Maidens from Outer Space Movie Review

Fire maidens prove to be true to the space opera code that dictates that all alien women be in desperate need of male company. Astronauts on an expedition to Jupiter's thirteenth moon discover the lost civilization of Atlantis, which, as luck would have it, is inhabited only by women (except for one busy old man). An unexplained beast man prowls around looking to carry off fire maidens (can you blame him?).

What with Cat Women on the Moon, Queen of Outer Space, Abbott & Costello Go to Mars, Invasion of the Star Creatures, and Missile to the Moon, one might get the impression that outer space was swarming with scantily clad beauty queens. Was this part of a secret government plot to recruit volunteers for the space program?
