The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu Movie Review
Peter Sellers’ last film stood the whole Fu Manchu series on its head with gentle, occasionally surreal humor. Sellers portrays both the evil Doctor Fu and Nayland Smith, his heroic Scotland Yard nemesis. In Sellers’ version, Smith is getting slightly dotty with old age and insists on pushing around a lawn-mower everywhere he goes, while Fu recalls studying at Eton in his youth. All of this is incidental to the plot, which as usual involves Fu's quest for immortality – but with some very unusual twists.
