Dr. Cyclops Movie Review

The famous early Technicolor fantasia about a mad scientist miniaturizing a group of explorers who happen upon his jungle lab. Landmark f/x still hold up, while the slow-moving story occasionally takes on aspects of a fairy story. Albert Dekker makes for a fine mad scientist, his bald pate and thick glasses immediately recalling Eric von Stroheim. Ripped off in the 1970s by the producers of the Dr. Shrinker television series.
