Demon Seed Movie Review

Early entry in the computer-gone-nuts sub-genre, based on a Dean R. Koontz novel, is surprisingly watchable and tense. The world's most sophisticated computer, Proteus IV, puts the moves on his creator's estranged wife (Julie Christie) when it takes over the running of her house. The second half of the film is much stronger than the beginning.
