Deepstar Six Movie Review

While James Cameron's epic The Abyss was still in production, various cheapo filmmakers raced to have their own undersea sci-fi creature features in cinemas first. In this triumph of speed over quality, scientists in a submarine lab suffer a bad case of the crabs. Make that one crab: a giant, hungry crustacean out to avenge countless boiled lobster tails. Silly stuff shows its low budget when the monster surfaces, though there is a standout human performance by Miguel Ferrer.
