Curse of the Swamp Creature Movie Review
A mad scientist in the Everglades with some weird ideas about evolution attempts to create half-human/half-reptilian monsters. He succeeds (more or less), producing a series of clawed, rubbery-skinned varmints that look like low-rent versions of the Creature from the Black Lagoon. Most of these things go to Lizard-man Heaven in fairly short order, but his final experiment lives…though it's none too happy about that fact, having previously been quite happy as the doc's wife, thank you. Before long a geological expeditionary force, headed by B-movie hero extraordinaire John Agar, arrives and attempts to stop the good doctor's tamperings with Forbidden Knowledge. Ah, but will they be too late? Low-budget but atmospheric thrills courtesy of Larry Buchanan, the man who also brought you The Eye Creatures.
1966 80m/C John Agar, Francine York, Shirley McLine, Bill Thurman, Jeff Alexander; D: Larry Buchanan. VHS MOV, VDM
