Bad Channels Movie Review

As the frenzied DJ at nationwide radio station KDUL spins the hits, an alien interloper (accurately described as looking “like a turd in a portable window”) shrinks down pretty female listeners to put into specimen jars for transport back to his planet. Grating performances combine with obnoxious music videos; the only thing that semi-saves this is a gag cameo by Full Moon Productions superhero Dollman (Tim Thomerson). Helped set up the sequel Dollman Vs. the Demonic Toys. Uninterested viewers need not apply. Features ex-MTV VJ Martha Quinn and a score by Blue Oyster Cult.

1992 (R) 88m/C Paul Hipp, Martha Quinn, Aaron Lustig, Ian Patrick Williams, Charlie Spradling, Tim Thomerson; D: Ted Nicolaou; W: Jackson Barr; C: Adolfo Bartoli. VHS, Beta PAR
