Alien from L.A. Movie Review

A limp comedy about a California girl (Kathy Ireland) who unwittingly stumbles onto the ancient civilization of Atlantis while searching for her lost archaeologist father. She quickly becomes embroiled in a number of rather silly adventures. Much of the alleged humor revolves around the Atlanteans calling Ireland an “alien.” Ireland makes an appealing heroine, but that's not enough to save this movie, which is weakly plotted, acted, and filmed. It probably would have been more fun if it had been made in the ‘70s.
