The Trouble with Dick Movie Review

There's plenty of trouble with this adolescent would-be comedy. An ambitious young science-fiction writer's personal troubles (which include being involved with several over-sexed women) begin to appear in his writing. This 1987 Grand Jury Prize Winner at Sundance is basically a genre-movie re-working of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, but nowhere near as charming as that description might suggest. The story (what there is of it) gets very tedious after the first five minutes.
