The Red Poster Movie Review

The Red Poster tells the story of 23 members of the French Underground who were killed by the Nazis in 1944. Director/writer Frank Cassenti shifts uneasily back and forth between cinematic and theatrical styles as if he is grasping for the best structure to support the meaning of the narrative. Cassenti was once Constantin Costa-Gavras’ assistant, but seems to have no other credits of note. AKA: L'Affiche Rouge.
