Def by Temptation Movie Review

Ah, those demon temptresses, preying on innocent divinity students. James Bond III wrote, directed, and starred as Joel in Def by Temptation, which horror devotees consider to be the pièce de résistance of Troma Films’ oeuvre. The rest of the cast received high praise, too, especially seductive Cynthia Bond, and the soundtrack became a collectors’ item. Cinematographer Ernest Dickerson, who also shot She's Gotta Have It (with John Canada Terrell), went on to direct Juice (with Samuel L. Jackson) and Blind Faith (with Kadeem Hardison).
