Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death Movie Review

Cannibal Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death was my favorite of all the movies I rented in the month of March, 1990. It features a change of pace role for Shannon Tweed, who was then featured on the Playboy Channel in Barbi, Shannon and Candy, a tribute to three former Playmates. In Cannibal Women, she plays a feminist anthropology professor. My favorite character in the movie is Bunny, her worst student, who thinks that she's the best one in the class. Bunny, played by Karen (Return of the Killer Tomatoes) Mistal, is always talking about her sexual fantasies. The two of them have to go into the jungles of San Bernadino to find another feminist professor, Adrienne Barbeau. They enlist the aid of a fairly useless male guide (played by Bill Maher) with whom Bunny promptly falls in love. You see, Bunny would like to be a feminist, but she never CAN remember which side she's on. Also, she can't quite abandon her sexual fantasies of being wrapped up in red licorice and…love it! Great fun at a video party with plenty of free-spirited friends.
