Attica Movie Review

Cinda Firestone made this documentary with her folk's money (the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company). Her honest study of the Attica uprising benefits from outstanding research. Firestone produced, directed, and edited (with Tucker Ashworth) Attica herself, and her frank interviews with Attica's inmates are shrewdly spliced next to contrasting statements by Attica's officials.
